Looking for electric car development news? It can be hard to keep up with the constant advancements in this growing technology field. There are many resources available to the public on this topic including electric car kits, electric car parts suppliers, electric car conversion guides, electric car repair guides and much more. All of these can help you in your efforts to convert your existing gasoline driven vehicle to an electric vehicle (EV). However, the advancements being made today in the EV market can not be ignored.

News On Pollution And EV Space

Recent news laments the rising pollution levels and the resultant environmental damage. While it is almost impossible to reverse the damage that is done from our fossil fuel dependent economy, it is certainly possible to produce clean burning electric vehicles that reduce or eliminate the emission of pollution from our fuel powered vehicles. In this article, we will examine some of the most prominent and prolific electric vehicle related news bites and Industry developments.

One of the first Industry developments in the EV space was the creation of an all-electric car that would allow drivers to travel long distances with little fuel consumption. The EV Roadmap was released in 2021 and is available for download on the EV Garage website. This comprehensive map lays out a complete plan for converting an electric car to an all-electric vehicle (EV). The EV roadmap calls for a significant decrease in oil consumption and emissions, a lower cost of manufacturing, and a worldwide network of EV charging stations.

Oil Companies And EV Breakthrough

The oil companies are beginning to get with the program. In early 2021, General Motors and Toyota showed off their new electric cars at the North American International Auto Show. Other EV manufacturers are sure to follow soon.

Another EV breakthrough is in the realm of batteries. Advancements have been made in battery technology, which allows for longer ranges for less energy consumption. Leading EV Manufacturer, Nissan recently announced that it will be incorporating a “second battery pack” with its new NVQ car. Industry watchers expect other major manufacturers to follow suit shortly.

In late 2021, a new EV concept was unveiled by a well-known French inventor, Mr. Bernard Fouchier. His project, called “Dyson”, is aimed at designing an entirely new electric car. His original intention was to develop an “all-electric vehicle” but his latest creation, the Dyson is a modified version of his earlier invention, the Perivolos electric motor. Mr. Fouchier states that his latest invention is capable of producing more power than competing vehicles with combustion engines.

Mr. Fouchier says his ultimate goal for his innovative motor is to produce an electric vehicle that can run both on water and on land. He also has visions of his car being able to run on power supplied by wind turbines. If his theory comes to fruition, it would mark a huge leap forward in electric vehicles (EVs). The problem however, is that the cost of fuel and electricity is likely to increase, making electric vehicles a far from perfect dream for the moment.

The Last Few Considerations

With global warming a very real concern for the future, Mr. Fouchier’s vision may not become a reality. His mission however is not lost. As a matter of fact, EV enthusiasts are urged to continue developing new EVs with the hope that someday, an entirely electric car will be developed. Right now, EVs only account for about 5% of the car market. With all of the excitement in the industry though, it is easy to see why the electric car development news is so exciting.

Even though electric cars are still not a mainstream solution, they are growing in popularity. EV enthusiasts are attracted to the fact that electric cars can help save the environment while providing drivers with a comfortable and secure way to travel. Even though most EV buyers choose an EV based solely on the environmental benefits, many are taking the plunge because they offer incredible value. Owning an electric vehicle can give drivers an additional driving time, lower emissions, and less expense on gasoline.

Beyond the environmental benefits, EV driving offers convenience. Many people enjoy the feeling of driving an electric car because it is silent. Though drivers do spend some time accosting other drivers for moving through traffic, the lack of exhaust noise means that drivers are able to get on with their daily routine. This is especially important in large cities, where the noise from exhaust fumes can be disruptive to daily living.
